Senz Umbrella

Last week I got a new umbrella. Usually this would be from the $2 shop and be a collapsible piece of shit, but not this time. I showed some sense and got a Senz.

Senz Umbrellas are an odd shape – they extend at the back and are apparently impossible to invert even at winds up to 100km/hr. Considering the weather in Sydney of late, this is a good thing. The only thing that I dislike about the umbrella is that I have to consciously think about how I’m holding it in order for it to be positioned in a forward direction (bizarre to have to be conscious about how to hold an umbrella).

Oh well, it’s hot and functional. While the umbrellas are quite expensive for the product category, ranging from about $60-$100 based on size, it’s a worthy investment.
